What is DrumBeat Cycle Therapy

DRUMBEAT (Discovering Relationships Using Music, Beliefs, Emotions, Attitudes & Thoughts) is a therapeutic, evidence-based program that uses rhythm and group drumming to build connection, self-expression, and resilience. Through interactive sessions, participants explore themes such as teamwork, communication, emotional regulation, and self-esteem.

The program explores key relationship themes, including:

  • Identity and sense of self

  • Team building, bonding, and teamwork

  • Understanding and managing emotions

  • Mindfulness and finding balance

  • Building resilience and self-confidence

  • Healthy and positive relationships

  • Social responsibility/Resilience

  • Leadership

We aim to promote community participation and support organisations’ growth through experience-sharing that embraces diversity, inclusion, self-awareness, cultural sensitivity, and social justice. Our programs build teamwork, health, and wellbeing while breaking down barriers through fun and engaging drum-based learning.
